Connecticut’s farms not only provide fresh, nutritious food for the people of our state, but they also are small businesses that support thousands of jobs and are a critical component of our economy.

However brief it may be, this extension matters. It means thousands of our Haitian neighbors, coworkers, and friends can keep showing up to work and keep earning to support their families for a few more critical days.
