Actually, the American Rescue Plan has been a blessing for us.

Science and medicine have been driving our government decisions. I have been relying on the medical and scientific community in Puerto Rico for my decisions.

The Corps of Engineers projects have been critical resources I have counted on for Puerto Rico.

These and many other projects in towns across the islands... require attention, and it is my hope that we can soon hear good news about them.

I will say that the Corps is one of the best resources I have counted on for Puerto Rico.

I have introduced H.R. 1967, which will allow Puerto Rico to issue commercial driver's licenses to truckdrivers in Puerto Rico.

We approved the infrastructure bill a few days ago, the President signed it, but there are still a lot of areas that we can improve.

The American Society of Civil Engineers decided that Puerto Rico needed more than $3 billion to bring our network just to good repair.

I fear we sometimes tend to focus on larger commercial fishing operations and forget about the needs of our small-scale fishermen.

Congress should enact the "Housing Survivors of Major Disasters Act," (H.R. 3037)

I mean, all of us have our problems, and I think the witnesses have illustrated things that can be achieved by working together.

Climate change is here, and it is threatening the ability of our communities to bring water to our fields.

Our job, as lawmakers, is to make sure that we are putting into place all of the changes that are necessary.

We need to continue to leverage these collaborative partnerships to invest in the best monitoring science and technology.

As we all know, our rivers and communities have been gripped across the West by a drought this year.

Is our system near to a complete collapse here soon?

The dozen or so LNG power units proposed in the PREPA and FEMA action plan, will these in any way prevent the continuance of the conversion to renewables? ... In my personal opinion, the answer is yes.
