If you drive through downtown L.A., the graffiti is everywhere and has caused significant damages.

The President, he did it on purpose. As the news spread throughout L.A., anxiety for family and friends ramped up and protests started again.

This is about all of us. This is about you. California may be first – but it clearly won’t end here. Other states are next. Democracy is next.

If some of us can be snatched off the streets without a warrant – based only on suspicion or skin color – then none of us are safe.

The increasingly aggressive and cruel tactics of the immigration enforcement is what's prompting the response of people who are passionate about speaking up for our fundamental rights and due process.

Instead of rolling back the program — meaning cutting people off for basic care — we’re capping it.

Many businesses have now been affected or vandalized.

Trump chose theatrics over public safety

We begged the President of the United States to send in the National Guard. He would not do it.

$134 million should be going to LA’s fire recovery and is shameful.

These tactics sow terror in our communities and disrupt basic principles of safety in our city.

I was notified when the raids were happening.

We do not know where and when the next raids will be. That is the concern.
