Let me suggest to you that, and then I will go to the panel, suggest to you that had, when Yugoslavia just broke up, had the West been very clear that different people have a right to vote on their self-determination and included the Kosovars in that, that would have been a whole, the bloodshed that happened wouldn't have happened.

What we could do is we can make believe that the word authority and autonomy just have different meanings and we could make pretend what those words mean.

It is so amazing to me that the Republicans are complaining that money was taken from the prevention program to help pay for the implementation of the Affordable Care Act after the Republicans denied the Administration funds to implement the Affordable Care Act.

This Preexisting Condition Insurance Program, or PCIP, was part of the Affordable Care Act. It isn't something the Republicans authored into law; it was part of the Affordable Care Act that they voted against.

We talked about the Affordable Care Act being fully implemented in 2014, but many key benefits and protections from the law are already in place.

I hope that we take that appropriate perspective and I hope that we can develop that perspective as the Affordable Care Act is implemented over the coming months.

What I do hope is, as problems arise, we can work together to identify and fix them instead of using them to simply score political points.

It is to be quite amazing that the Republican suddenly want to champion a program for a few months which is a bridge until people get to what is a much more sane way to handle the matter.

The ACA prohibits insurers from denying coverage for children with preexisting conditions right now, isn't that correct?

Republicans still oppose the Affordable Care Act. They are not taking a constructive approach.

The Affordable Care Act will go fully into effect and Americans will never again have to worry about their ability to get affordable, high-quality health insurance.

So when Republicans voted against the Affordable Care Act, they were voting to let the insurance companies do this rescission.

I congratulate Mr. Cohen and his agency for doing all that they are doing.

They want this bill to fail.

You have to question how sincere they are about wanting to help people with preexisting conditions.

Success doesn't change the opinions of my colleagues on the Republican side of the aisle.

The certainty they would have if there was no Affordable Care Act is that millions of people would be discriminated against because they had preexisting health conditions.
