President Trump earlier today did promise to usher in a, quote, golden age for America quickly, though, portraying a declining country that's failing its citizens, a failure that Trump says he'll reverse.

But the people who have been here for years, if not decades, like Dreamers, like farmers, like other essential workers that make our country tick, that's a whole different population.

It's tone deaf. It's a bunch of Washington politicians listening to the foreign policy blob and totally out of touch with Americans.

I don't think so. I think Washington and the beltway are so out of touch with ordinary Americans.

If we can't stipulate to a set of facts, how are we going to work together to lead, not just this nation, but to lead the world?

These communities have to be rebuilt.

It is not out of the danger zone.

President Jimmy Carter loved our country. He lived his faith, served the people, and left the world better than he found it.

Rest assured, we will absolutely do an evaluation to look at what worked, what didn't work, and to correct or to hold accountable any body department, individual, et cetera.

There were no reductions that were made that would have impacted the situation that we were dealing with over the last couple of days.

We need answers to ensure this does not happen again. And we have every resource available to fight these catastrophic fires.
