I call on other states to follow California’s lead on redistricting before the midterm elections.

It was not just a victory tonight for the Democratic Party. It was a victory for the United States of America, for the people of this country, the principles that our Founding Fathers lived and died for.

I would have done the family piece first, which is affordable childcare, paid leave, extension of the child tax credit.

It is with a full heart and even more commitment than ever that I am choosing to not run for governor of California next year.

I’d have an opportunity and responsibility to be a leading voice against that.

And by the way, can history reflect on the fact that it was the closest presidential election?

We deserve better than this.

We haven’t reviewed the lawsuit, but if it’s from the California Republican Party and Harmeet Dhillon’s law firm, it’s going to fail.
