We need a serious negotiation.

On behalf of the American people, we're supposed to simply take their word that they're willing to negotiate?

If the president at this meeting is going to rant and just yell at Democrats and talk about all his alleged grievances... we won't get anything done.

We have connected more New Yorkers to mental health services and supportive housing. We’ve driven down crime in our subways and gotten illegal guns off the streets.

God forbid the Republicans shut the government down.

I commend Mayor Adams for putting the city first.

We have to think that his refusal to roll over for the hard left goes a long way to explaining the decision of the imperious, unaccountable Campaign Finance Board to kneecap his re-election campaign by denying it any matching funds.

I strongly encourage whoever takes over City Hall to continue what we’ve done.

We need the meeting. It’s a first step, but only a first step. We need a serious negotiation.

I warn of the insidious forces out to use local government to advance divisive agendas with little regard for how it hurts everyday New Yorkers.

Donald Trump and his billionaire donors might be able to determine Eric Adams and Andrew Cuomo’s actions but they will not dictate the results of this election.
