The exponentially increasing backlog at our National Park Service is unacceptable.

Let us not confuse the public by creating this perception that these projects are only in a particular district.

I and members of the Congressional Quiet Skies Caucus have repeatedly made requests for changes at the FAA.

These projects span the mosaic of our country.

If there were deep cuts as proposed, we would see some of that being rolled back, we would see projects slow down.

I am extremely appreciative of the Great American Outdoors Act, of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the Inflation Reduction Act.

There must be stronger requirements to address the noise, environment, health, and safety issues impacting those underneath flight paths.

The FAA has been entrusted with ensuring aviation safety, which is a serious concern for residents in my district who live below the flightpath.

It is not concentrated in any particular jurisdiction.

These projects are having an incredible, tangible impact in rural America.

it is time for the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee to make meaningful changes to the FAA's authorizing statute that require greater protection for the health and safety of families in my district and around the country

This popular area has not been upgraded since when it was first built in the 1960s.
