While we may be in dismal times, this is America. And I think that we have to take the attitude that we will get through this, and we will.

The key is to make sure that Americans come through this difficult time and come out whole at the end of it.

We need to somehow have more dialogue so there is not repetition.

Well, you know, the issue that I think you are saying, you are loud and clear, is that we need a long-term plan.

I also agree with Congressman Wolf. I think you have some great teachers and anybody in the teaching profession, I respect.

If we are going to be the nation that we are now and that we need to be, and we are slipping in a lot of arenas, so we have got to deal with it.

we have to maintain our space dominance, because that is one of the reasons we are the most powerful country in the world.

As we move as a nation to reduce our reliance on foreign oil and our reliance on fossil fuels, we clearly need to make sure that the clean energy companies get the credit and the financing they need to move forward.

We would like to look at expanding that to some debt financing as we go forward.

I think we are all still working on this third piece, on getting the credit flowing again.

Federal preemption is also inhibiting the solution.

These are policies and financial funding and incentives have to come at the national level, and that's why we also have to deal with issues around federal preemption.

We've also had many cases where we have not been able to make progress, which is why it's essential that we move forward more aggressively on that front.

We all need to get behind that plan.
