You know, they don't want to, Johnson doesn't want to discuss the real issue, the health care crisis facing the American people.

Because what I’m not going to do is tolerate 4 million uninsured Americans because Donald Trump decided one day he wants to make sure kids are dying because they don’t have access to insurance.

This is about people being able to insure their children.

Johnson and a whole lot of his caucus don’t like the ACA, don’t want to do the extensions.

He saw the writing on the wall: his public safety cuts were illegal, dangerous, and wrong.

I appreciate President Trump’s responsiveness, engagement, and swift action to heed my calls and reverse these drastic and dangerous funding cuts to vital DHS grants, which support New York City’s counterterrorism efforts.

We fought back and won.

New York City is not for sale.

New York remains the nation’s top terror target, and cutting this funding was never acceptable.

From the moment these devastating cuts were announced, I made it clear that New York would not stand by while our law enforcement and counterterrorism operations were defunded.

I’m glad President Trump heard our call and reversed course, ensuring our state has the resources necessary to support law enforcement and keep our families safe.

They’ve already engaged in mass firings.
