The anti-semitism that we have seen on campus is unacceptable.

We have invested already $571 million in mental health services for students in K-12.

It is unacceptable. And we are committed, as a Department of Education to adhering to Title VI enforcement.

That is the most important thing to me, to make sure that our kids are safe on campus.

We know that increased wages is not only better for those workers, but it also attracts a better quality workforce.

Anybody with familiarity about the work that is done by long-term care workers knows that they have highly demanding jobs emotionally and physically, and those jobs can be draining.

We are in a youth mental health crisis, and unfortunately across the country we have emergency room models of mental health support, meaning, after the trauma.

While we hope for diplomacy with North Korea to be successful, we must recognize that hope alone is not a course of action.

I am supporting a measure called the Postal Police Reform Act of 2023, led by Senator Durbin and Senator Collins.

Since we passed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act we have seen a stunning drop in gun crime in this country.

In my opinion, the textbook case for the power of alliances is the U.S.-South Korea Alliance--which will be 71 years strong this year.

Just as I said in my testimony, just looking to reform immigration policies so that we can support more direct care workers who are already filling a significant proportion of these roles would be important.
