We are very concerned about this across the board, and we have to get younger people involved.

We have acted as if the environment were a luxury we could ignore.

These agencies have been understaffed far too long, and now we are seeing the ramifications.

I can tell you, there can be, especially if there is algae involved, we have the same problem with dead zones in the Hood Canal.

The ocean acidification can make these situations worse.

We urge the Subcommittee to provide NEH with at least $230 million in fiscal year 2010...

You guys are doing a good job. You know, you have made a difference because the testimony we received several years ago in these hearings resulted in us making a major increase in the Refuge System.

There is approximately a $300 million backlog of deferred road maintenance and remediation needs.
