Asif Ali Zardari: “The entire nation shares the grief of the affected families in this hour of sorrow.”

I call for a comprehensive investigation into the collapse and stress the need to ensure school buildings meet safety standards to prevent similar tragedies.

President Zardari emphasised that operations would continue until the complete eradication of terrorism “fueled by foreign patronage and assistance”.

Mr Zardari called for a deepening strategic alliance between Pakistan and Malaysia.

We must also remember that, alongside a strong defence, economic stability, political tolerance, national unity, education and development constitute the foundations of Pakistan’s strength.
