The amicable resolution of these issues not only benefits the workers involved but also contributes to the continued stability and peaceful industrial relations climate that Saint Lucia enjoys.

With what is happening outside there, it’s going to impact – if it’s not resolved soon – the availability of foods and the availability of services. This can have significant implications for us.

And I believe what this lecture and other activities that are happening now is causing us to take a pause and reflect on what has caused such a fracture in our society and how, as a Government, as a society, we can put Humpty Dumpty back…
