Holly Cairns: “Disabled people have the same rights as everyone else.”

On two occasions in the Dáil this week, I urged the Taoiseach to intervene and ensure that apartments were not built on a potential mass grave of infants at Bessborough.

Their suffering was not solely the work of one predatory monster, but the result institutional failure by the State.

Accountability does not end with saying sorry.
