It will give our law enforcement agencies stronger tools, improve intelligence sharing across the State, strengthen oversight of emerging risks and ensure Ireland continues to meet the highest international standards.

I look forward to substantive and cooperative engagement with MEPs as we move forward on our shared objectives.

Irish people work hard for their money and we are determined to make sure their money can work harder for them, and I look forward to setting out more detail in the Budget on October 6.
