I think it's deeply disappointing that the Government have come forward with a budgetary package for next year that is smaller than last years, it shows that they're really out of touch and don't understand the pressures ordinary people are under.

There is no way that Sinn Féin will stand by and allow that to happen when these fuels prices are increased.
We're looking for the Government to finally listen and to act, and the only way these increases can be stopped is a recall of the Dáil before 1 September for a financial resolution to be passed.
The Government must act now to protect people at the pumps by extending these cuts until a review on Budget Day and ensuring that no additional pressure is placed on households already struggling with the cost of living.
