I hope that some backbenchers defy the whip and vote in line with 77% of the public who want to see hare coursing banned.

At the very least people should get a vote. Put it to the people.

They are not appropriate or safe for children and the government should move swiftly to outlaw marketing and sales of e-scooters to under 16s.
