The candidate countries must be seen as participants in the enlargement process, not its objects.

It is therefore important that Brussels return to the path of dialogue. We have always expressed our readiness for this, and we hope we will have the opportunity to restore dialogue with various EU institutions.

The best way to address the European Union’s currently weakened geopolitical and economic positions is to step up the game and enlarge to strategically critical geopolitical areas — the Balkans and the Black Sea.
