Estonia does not recognize Taiwan as a state and there are no plans to change that. But from a pragmatic perspective, we see Taiwan, with the world's fastest-growing economy, as a potential partner.

We in the Reform Party want Estonia to be secure and the economy to grow, because that gives people and businesses more opportunities to carry out their plans.

Martin Herem is certainly one of Estonia's most reliable defense experts, and I think he would be a very worthy candidate.

By the end of the week or the beginning of next week, it will be clear who the next defense minister candidate would be.
