Simply put, the last decade the federal government has done terribly at the things that are actually its job: immigration, crime, military spending, borders, while intruding into things that are not its job: regulating our resources, going after hunting rifles which are private property, just to name a few examples.

And that’s what we need to do — use our resources and energy to make us stronger, more affordable and more self-reliant here at home.
My message to Albertans is this: Don’t leave your fellow Canadians behind. Lock arms with them, lock arms with Canadians who want to restore the promise of Canada.
To those people who are thinking about taking out their frustration on the current government by voting for separation and the referendum, I say this: Canada is more than a government, it’s a people, a flag, a land, a history and a promise.
