Pierre Poilievre: “Before you concede anything else, Canadians deserve a good deal.”

My message to Americans is simple: these tariffs drive up costs and put jobs at risk in both our countries.

We have a 200-year-old relationship. There's always going to be grievances on both sides of the border.

If they cannot give Canadians a straight answer on something this basic, why should anyone trust them to deliver on the rest of their promises?

And that’s what we need to do — use our resources and energy to make us stronger, more affordable and more self-reliant here at home.
