There’s something abnormal about a foreign king coming to tell us what to do right at the start of a legislative term, a mandate.

The votes will be determined and policy will be determined on what’s good for Alberta and what Albertans want.

It also gives us the obligation to remain mobilized for an election campaign — not in the short term, but eventually.

It is a matter of justice and equity, but it is also a matter of survival.
