Olivia Chow: “I’m here as the mayor of Toronto. I’m not here in a campaign capacity.”

I applaud Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow’s campaign promise to provide lunch to every student in Toronto schools if she’s re-elected.

Last November, as mayor, Olivia Chow doubled the City’s Building Skills Through Recreation program, a popular program supporting over 2,000 youth in serving their neighbourhoods.

That's why as mayor, Olivia Chow established a Renters Action Committee and has been acting on their feedback.

Being a renter should not mean having to live in squalor.
