As mayor, Olivia Chow expanded the MURA Program with nearly $100 million in funding to help nonprofits acquire more than 1,000 homes so far, and keep them affordable.

This past March, Olivia Chow also passed a proposal to develop a plan for winter surge capacity snow shovellers.
