Bill C-22 represents one of the most massive expansions of State surveillance authority Canada has seen in decades.

The move raises serious questions regarding procedural fairness, administrative competence and public confidence in Canada's citizenship system.

To date, we still don't have a permanent appointment, and there is no clear process of how the government will proceed with respect to that.
