I don’t think taxpayer dollars should be used to mislead Canadians or to advance propaganda. I think that’s what’s happening here as well.
We don’t really have a housing crisis. We have an affordable housing crisis, and that’s a key distinction. There’s not a shortage of the kinds of product that wealthy people or investors may want.
You can floor cross. You just have to make the case to your constituents, and if you think you have good reasons for it, you’ll get a mandate from voters. If you don’t, then you won’t.
