First Nations got to wait all summer just for them to have a break to get back to this conversation after six years of broken promises.
Albertans are not going anywhere, First Nations people are not going anywhere, regardless of what happens in this referendum, and we have to get down to the table together and kind of chart out a path.
The second-generation cutoff is discriminatory. The Senate has provided a path to remove it. Hundreds of First Nations have called for action. Thousands of people have written to Parliament.
