We have a problem with voter turnout in elections, and this contributes to that.
We don’t really have a housing crisis. We have an affordable housing crisis, and that’s a key distinction. There’s not a shortage of the kinds of product that wealthy people or investors may want.
That’s U.S.-style, southern pork-barrel politics. And I don’t think Canadians support that.
When a parliamentarian crosses the floor to join a different party than they were elected with, they are unilaterally — at the very least — altering the will of their electorate.
