It is not any problem to start a war. That is the easiest thing in the world.

And this is the partnership we are going to continue between the Government and the people as long as I am your President.

We don't want our American boys to do the fighting for Asian boys.

The truth is simple and the truth is this: Our beloved Nation was never stronger than it is this hour tonight.

And as long as I am your President, your Government is going to devote full energy in developing all of these resources, and one of them that we are now developing is the Arkansas River.

We cannot meet that challenge by looking backward.

I ask each of you to look back to your own lives.

It does not mean that we are going to have a labor Government.

We are not out of the woods.

And those dreams have now come to pass.

We have a social security system that will give us a modicum of income when we reach our maturity and are no longer able to stay in the labor market.

So a system of public education, every dollar invested in education today, brings a return of 10 to 12 percent in national wealth, and that is a pretty good return on a dollar invested--10 to 12 percent.

There are two philosophies at each others throat in the world--the Democratic philosophy and the Communist philosophy.
