Madam President, tomorrow we will begin consideration of the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act. There will be up to 20 hours for debate under the rules. Senators should expect a busy week, with rollcall votes throughout. ____________________

I say to myself, why is it that they are so resistant to making some basic changes on things which are so obviously going to come back to haunt them?
This is a good bill. It has helped. It has done even what the Affordable Care Act has not been able to do.
We urge Congress to, first and foremost, adopt a 4-year extension of CHIP funding through 2019.
