We strongly support its adoption, designating Plum Island a national monument

My legislation, H.R. 1584, the Plum Island National Monument Act, would do just that by designating Plum Island as a national monument.

Utah State Parks are well managed and cared for, and I am proud to sponsor this bill alongside my colleague, Senator Mike Lee, which would remove the ineffective bureaucratic management over these small parcels of land, and give them local control that makes more sense, where they could be better managed.
