If they have a loving home and a loving family, they get educated. They get jobs. They are successful.
It is about drug and alcohol abuse. It is about human trafficking. It is about crime.
The passage of the Family First law gives us an awesome opportunity to bend this curve, and we can do that.
We need to go back to the basics, I think, and what can we do, especially in the foster care world too.
The Executive Order the President issued yesterday which instructs agencies to find ways to cut services and basic necessities for people who are poor or don't have jobs is exactly the wrong approach.
I share the Administration's goal of addressing unfair trade and ensuring American workers and businesses can compete on a level playing field.
I am especially concerned about Washington State, I am concerned about the entire country.
