I urge the committee and Congress to take a decisive action to address these critical issues facing our Navajo veterans.

Our veterans have earned the right to accessible, quality care, and benefits through their service and sacrifice.

The VA's Beneficiary Travel program is critical, yet it does not fully offset the high costs of the logistical challenges associated with traveling many, many hours to the VA facilities.

The Navajo Nation therefore supports this bill, and urges its passage.

The withdrawal elevates outside special interest groups, and disregards the sovereign interests of the Navajo Nation.

Respect for tribal sovereignty must be consistent, even when it is not convenient.

It was very shocking that our voices weren't being heard.

If you are going to take a job from somebody or money from somebody, you should have a plan to replace it.

I just feel like we have to come back to the table.

I truly agree with having a transition plan that is equitable, and that plan was never presented.
