Captain Lefere has a proven commitment of valor to his country by fighting for freedom and democracy throughout the world. In his 27 years of service, he completed four different deployments and will be remembered in the service for his strong character, work ethic, and love of country. It is with pleasure that we can say that Captain Lefere will continue his career in public service as a director of operations and planning in the Monroe County School Board.
