I think what is the most alarming and what is the most scary is that when you allow the government to go so far and you don't stop them, they go farther.
I think monetary policy has limits, and QE, quantitative easing, has run its course.
I do not know that I agree with the assertion that everything good in the economy... has occurred because of adroit monetary policy.
In the near term, these extraordinary monetary actions become an enabler of bad fiscal policy, allowing President Obama and Congress to avoid the tough and necessary decisions.
