The most important lesson in life in the Presidency is to have a clear vision of where you want to lead, and lead.

It's a world that is more free and therefore more peaceful; a world based upon human rights, human dignity, and justice.

I trust him, therefore.

We will not be defeated by the terrorists.

Freedom is the Almighty's gift to everybody who lives in the world.

He has distinguished himself as a passionate spokesman for freedom, an advocate for democracy, and a true friend of the United States.

I believe he was a dangerous man.

The United States honors this statesman for his dedicated service and for his unique contributions to the advancement of peace and liberty around the world.

On behalf of the Nation, I thank you for your service to our country.

The loss is terrible. It is borne especially by the families left behind.

Every veteran can be certain: The Nation you served and the people you defended are grateful.
