I am also proud of his efforts to bring to the American classroom the Peace Corps' knowledge of the world through programs like World Wise Schools and the Peace Corps' Fellows/USA.

The World Wise Schools program has exposed over 60,000 American students to the international experiences of Peace Corps volunteers stationed throughout the world.

America has demonstrated to the world that when individuals have the freedom to pursue their dreams and to put their talents and ideas to work, we all benefit.
If we want better schools, we should set off a competition for the best schools.
The future of American education depends on more than what happens in the classroom or around the kitchen table.
