If members of Congress are treating the former President as though he had control of the mob, that gives you an awful lot of insight into what they believed.

In America, we play political games at the voting box, not with guns and with explosive devices.

While many of the Afghanistan people are good people, they’re bad ones too, don’t like Americans and our Western way of life. Resettling them in the United States, so our country becomes a refugee camp, is not the answer.

This shows that there was a Trump loyalist inside of the Justice Department, who had not only fully bought into the big lie, but who was advocating it and advancing it in a very real way.

In this absolutely remarkable situation, where you have every appearance that a sitting president was involved in insurrection, that the Justice Department must fully investigate the facts and circumstances around that.

Choosing not to investigate because you`re afraid of the way it would look politically, is in fact poisoning the investigative process with politics.
