The Public Record
You should have a file already, with everything nicely and neatly organized.
The subpoena was August 2013. We are not talking a couple months ago. We are talking a year and a half ago.
You can't claim, oh, this was the independent, be-all, end-all, definitive statement that the ARB made on Benghazi, and then not let us see the record.
We are going to make sure we keep focused on what we started our conversation here about, Mr. Starr, and that is the safety of our people who serve abroad.
I do not think we should move on until there is a complete understanding of how the security environment described by our own Government in court documents was allowed to exist.
The facts haven't changed. The evidence hasn't changed. But the way our Government characterizes Benghazi has changed a lot.
