Just 2 weeks ago, Representative Wenstrup introduced legislation to reform the hiring process at the VA, calling the process 'lengthy and inefficient.'

I think that probably makes it tough on your retention as well, especially for pilots where there are opportunities in the private sector.

How important is the role of Wright-Patterson in Ohio for the future of our air dominance?

I think it is important that we discuss the maintenance of air dominance and the role that the fifth generation fighters are playing.

So I am just curious how we are doing on sixth generation.

You know, that graphic there is very telling and obviously very concerning.

I think you brought up a good point. You know, many of our young veterans, as they get out, use their GI bill, and many of them go and use it for a 4-year degree, and that is great. But that is not for everybody.

I appreciate everything that each of you is doing to connect veterans to meaningful jobs as they exit the military.

We as a country still have more work to do to ensure that all the men and women who have served this Nation, and want a meaningful career after uniform are able to do so.

I would disagree; neither of my parents have a 4-year degree, and my guess is yours might not either.

I appreciate the work you have done with VETS.GOV. I think it has come a long way and certainly an opportunity for so many.
