My plan does not reduce. It just slows the rate of growth. These benefits continue increasing year after year after year throughout the century.

I think you guys have done--with a horrible economic situation over the past couple of years--have done a pretty good job.
I think this budget, as much as I don't like a lot of it, does make the kind of investments that we need to be competitive.
The President has disappointed us all by declining that opportunity. He punted.
Do you think that the tax increases that you are planning on in 2013 on mostly successful small businesses in the investment community in America, on job creators; you think it is not going to impact the economy?
How do we expect to win global competition? How do we expect to create jobs when we are taxing the engine of economic growth and job creation, small businesses, at rates in excess of 50 percent in most states?
I think if you look in this budget, this is possibly the toughest budget that certainly a Democratic President has ever put forward...
The President has presented us with a budget that spends too much, borrows too much and taxes too much.
