Pat Kevin Ryan is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing New York's 18th congressional district since August 23, 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, Ryan has a background as an Army officer and has engaged in various public service roles prior to his congressional career. His work in Congress has focused on issues such as national security and veterans' affairs, reflecting his military experience.
I don't think that there is any serious debate over the urgency of these challenges.
No matter how many times we say it, the Koch Brothers are not a small business, and I do not believe they need taxpayer dollars to fund union-busting campaigns in Wisconsin.
Tax cuts for the wealthiest two percent of Americans were a bill of goods sold to us on the promise that they would create jobs, but even before the financial meltdown, they failed, at a cost of trillions of dollars.
If we fail to act, we are inviting a debt crisis with potentially catastrophic consequences.
Senate candidates, however, willfully remain stuck in the Dark Ages, filing their disclosure reports on paper.
The improvement in Senate-related campaign finance disclosure that would result from the passage of S. 219 is long overdue.
Obviously, we dramatically disagree with your interpretation of your budget, but we will leave it at that.
The way we want to build on it is repeal it and then go in a different direction.
I question the assertion of primary balance, given that the final arbiter, CBO, on this is using a different set of projections.
