Pat Kevin Ryan is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing New York's 18th congressional district since August 23, 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, Ryan has a background as an Army officer and has engaged in various public service roles prior to his congressional career. If the president continues to put politics before principle--or party before country, as he often accuses others of doing--our economy will suffer.

Unfortunately, the current leaders in the Democrat-controlled Senate and at the White House have failed to step forward with solutions that match the magnitude of our challenges.
I hesitate to say this, but, Dr. Rivlin I think I agreed with everything you said in your opening statement.
The balanced approach, I hear this quite a bit these days. The President already has a pretty steep tax increase in his budget.
