I just hope that next year you won't ask for another $1 billion again and another $1 billion with $4.6 billion.
I also want to emphasize my support, as well, for the National Guard ChalleNGe Program.
I did not know how prone Puerto Rico was to earthquakes until I woke up and found out what had happened there.
I would encourage--I know that this is the next year's fiscal budget, but I am hoping that the Defense Approps can look at the opportunities for partnering with the civilian government and making a difference in the lives of civilians.
I would like and hope that I could get that focused on in this coming appropriations in terms of the impact it has on military women.
I think would be particularly helpful to our remaining troops and to the safety and security of the Afghan people.
