So I am just looking for a little bit more clarity on what, specifically from an offensive end, the President is looking to do to defeat ISIS; what is the limit of his authority under this authorization?

The use of this term 'boots on the ground' here in Washington--the reality is is that we have boots on the ground right now.
I believe personally that it is good that the President has brought an authorization for the use of force against ISIS.
I advocate for a stronger, more consistent foreign policy. We are negotiating with an element that is not our friend, who should not be trusted.
I wish that, you know, instead of us reducing sanctions we would be increasing sanctions.
If having the Israeli prime minister come address a joint session of Congress is undercutting American policy, then there is something wrong with America's foreign policy.
Regardless of whether the President is getting played or he is just playing along, when the President gets played, my country gets played.
I think we need to understand that our enemies do not respect weakness. They only respect strength.
I am honored to serve on this committee and this subcommittee, and I appreciate you being here and anything that you can possibly do to help reduce that backlog.
I actually think the whole thing is pretty outrageous and I am very grateful that Chairman Miller is having this hearing and Mr. Coffman is advocating so hard to keep us informed.
