I think it is important for Congress and the administration and for the American public, but also for the international community, to all be working together to increase sanctions on Iran's bad activities.
This hearing, which is called the Families of Iran's Hostages Speak Out, hopefully will be part of a better way forward of America speaking out because these families need this administration, need the American people to be fully behind…
I believe that when we were negotiating the deal in the first place all of these other bad activities should have been part of the agreement.
As far as when we look at the debate over Iran and the Iran nuclear deal, there is discussion over the letter of the deal and there is the discussion over the spirit of the deal.
Sadly, we have seen terrorist attacks in Europe over the last 3 years, which have killed hundreds of people and were largely carried about by European nationals.
As Americans, it's important for us to be united on this front, protecting the process, not just looking backwards but looking forwards as well and to send that message to make sure it doesn't happen again.
