We`re not in a good place. I`m going to be really honest with you. This is the winter surge we predicted.

What do you see in their eyes, I see two things. I see their commitment to doing what`s right. They want to help people. They want to be there for them. But also, there`s an exhaustion setting it.

This is not March of 2020. It is not even December of 2020. They`re not comparable to what we went through when we did not have vaccinations and boosters and the knowledge we have now.

This is a very bad day for Donald Trump and the NRA when we have Tish James, one of the finest attorney generals in the country, very focused on making sure that justice is done.

We are over it. We are done. We want to move on. And the only way we can do that is to ensure that everyone is vaccinated.

Everything I have done in life has been because of the Grace of God leading me to that place. And now God has asked me to serve humbly as your servant, as your governor.

As you heard in the earlier songs today and they`re so beautiful and I thank them for lifting my heart and my soul listening to music. One of the messages was, God will keep his promise to you. And here`s my promise to you, my friends, I will use the inspiration of God in my life and fight for you every single day as your governor and beyond.

I wear my vaccinated necklace all the time to say I`m vaccinated, all of you. Yes, I know, you`re vaccinated. You`re the smart ones. But you know, there`s people out there who aren`t listening to God, what God wants, you know this, you know who they are. I need you to be my apostles. I need you to go out and talk about it and say, we owe this to each other. We love each other. Jesus taught us to love one another.

You need to be assured that the person taking care of you is not going to give COVID to you or your newborn.

I guarantee I did not know I was pregnant with my first child at six weeks. I actually went on a white water rafting trip it turns out at three months because I didn’t know I was pregnant. That’s the reality of real people. We don’t always know.
