Jerrold Lewis Nadler is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New York's 10th congressional district since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously represented New York's 8th congressional district from 1992 to 2013. Throughout his tenure, Nadler has been known for his work on issues related to civil rights, judiciary matters, and government oversight. He has played a significant role in various legislative efforts and has been an outspoken advocate for progressive policies.
Without it, we cease to be the America that all of us believe in. I don't believe we can ever allow that to happen.
It was a reflection of our belief that the right to vote must be inviolate and that there are still too many challenges to making that a reality for all Americans, especially members of minority communities.
I urge all of the Committee--all of the Members of the Committee on both sides of the aisle to join us in seeking the truth.
Is there any justification in terms of accuracy? In other words, is it harder to get a gun card than--do you have to prove your residency more to get a gun registration than you do to get an in-State student voter?
I don't believe I ever at any time said that I thought it would be a good idea to hold a hearing on ACORN.
