That's how much the patent for all insulin was sold for.

$516 billion was spent on stock buybacks.

I don't think corporations will give us a reason why.

$465 billion was spent on research and development.

When insulin was first developed, the patent was sold... for a dollar.

I don't think that is true.

In other words, the primary regulator who is supposed to provide oversight of the industry, ask the toughest questions, and scrutinize the merger has longstanding ties through her former employment to one of the banks requesting this…

So, right now we are dealing with an all-Republican FDIC when it is supposed to be impartial which, I think, raises questions, Mr. Chairman, about the potential politicization of a merger, which should not be the case.

As a part of the settlement with the government, Mr. King, BB&T admitted that between January 1, 2006, and September 30, 2014, 'it certified for FHA insurance mortgage loans that did not meet the HUD underwriting requirements.'

We are not advocating for open borders. We are advocating for an immigration system that is humane.

It's absolutely risky. It requires risk to try something new, but -- but also, we know so much of -- of what we've tried in the past hasn't worked, either.

The President certainly didn't invent racism. But he's certainly given a voice to it and expanded it and created a platform for those things.

Well, I think that it only has ever been radicals that have changed this country.

And so, for me, what's unrealistic is -- is what we're living in right now.

What makes it unrealistic?

No one asked how we're going to pay for the space force. No one asked how we paid for a $2 trillion tax cut.

What we have in mind and what if my -- and my policies most closely resemble what we see in the U.K., in Norway, in Finland, in Sweden.

Yes. You know, if that's what radical means, call me a radical.

Yes. There -- people are going to have to start paying their fair share in taxes.

That is the goal. It's ambitious.
